“MONUMENTO SALZBURG” INTERNATIONAL PLATFORM FOR MONUMENT PRESERVATION

This week, I’ll be making a professional trip to Salzburg, where specialists and other enthusiasts for objects listed as cultural heritage meet to update themselves first-hand about current developments and proven restoration methods. More than 180 exhibitors from eight nations will be coming together at “Monumento Salzburg”, already being held for the second time at Salzburg’s Messezentrum from the 16th to the 18th of January. The exhibitor portfolio ranges from artistic blacksmithery and aerosol cleaning to organ construction, and from glass painting and stucco marble restoration to laser technology. This year’s focal point will be “stone.” Over the past years, I have assisted with numerous projects involving cultural preservation, such as renovating and remodeling old farm manors. I’ll be using this specialist trade show to network with other international experts in the field and exchange valuable knowledge so that my clients are always informed about current trends.
